Position: Principle Software Engineer– iPhone
Experience: 4-6 years
Qualification: B.Sc Computer Sciences, Electrical/Software Engineering
As Principal software engineer, your responsibilities will be as follows:
• Understanding product requirements
• Implementation of iPhone, iPad and WP7 applications
• Implementation and optimization of video/image processingalgorithms to ensure reusability and portability across various platforms
• Produce architecture design documentation based on requirements
• Investigation into new technologies and concepts which can be applied and used and help create new innovate products within the Palmchip product portfolio.
• Technically leading a development project team of 2-6 engineers
• Assisting project manager in resource and time estimation of various projects by providing technical evaluations
• Ensuring uniform code quality across team according to coding standards of Palmchip
• Supports the development project team on all system design aspects until completion of activities.
• Configuration Management & Change Control processes.
• Participate in Project Teams and report on Development activities as appropriate
• General product design reviews and problem resolution.
Requirements:
• Degree in Software, Electronic Engineering or equivalent. Masters level qualification would be an advantage
• iPhone, iPad and Mac development experience
• Expertise inObjectiveC / C/C++ development
• Proficiency in object oriented programming concepts and design
• Strong front end design skills
• High degree of innovation and creativity
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work on multiple assignments in parallel
